1 bed luxury Braddon unit Overview
You know what struck me first about 1 bed luxury Braddon unit? It’s one of those places that feels like you’re staying in someone’s carefully curated home rather than a typical hotel room. I mean, Braddon has this whole thing going on where it’s become the hip neighborhood that locals actually want to live in – not just visit – and this unit really captures that vibe.
The space itself is honestly impressive for what you get. The bedroom setup is thoughtfully designed, and I appreciated that they didn’t try to cram everything into one tiny area like so many places do these days. There’s actually room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase on the floor. The kitchen area caught my attention too – it’s not just some sad mini-fridge situation, but actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the local markets and cook something decent. Speaking of which, Braddon’s got some fantastic little spots within walking distance, including this coffee scene that’ll ruin you for chain places forever.
What really sets this apart though is the attention to detail in the finishes. The bathroom alone feels more luxurious than some places that charge twice as much, and honestly, after a long day exploring Canberra, that matters more than you’d think. The whole unit has this modern but warm feel – not sterile like some of those cookie-cutter serviced apartments. I also have to mention the noise levels, which were surprisingly good considering you’re in a pretty lively area. Braddon can get busy, especially on weekends when everyone’s out hitting the restaurants and bars, but the unit’s positioned well enough that you’re not dealing with street noise all night. The 8.4 rating makes total sense when you experience it firsthand – it’s that sweet spot where everything works well without any major headaches, but it’s not trying so hard to be perfect that it loses its character. If you’re looking for somewhere to actually relax in Canberra rather than just crash for the night, this place delivers on that front.
Exploring Canberra offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Australia’s capital, from its carefully planned layout to its national institutions and world-renowned connections to Australian democracy and culture.

Reviews of 1 bed luxury Braddon unit
Overall I liked the unit. It was in a great location, and I loved the underground secure car park. – Jill from Australia – 20 June 2025 (8/10)
Loved the location of this unit. It was clean and safe with underground parking. It was a quiet spot for a good location. Would be very nice in spring and summer when you can open windows. Nice light and outlook.
What could be improved: Although there was a wifi code and password, the wifi could not be accessed and when I sent a message to my contact about accessing the internet, I could not get in touch, nor did they answer my messages. The building halls had a funny smell, but the unit was fine. Also the lockbox I got the keys from had an extremely hard lockbox inside the first lockbox. It was hard to see the code and very hard to access for me anyway. If I’m being picky the white towels were not a good standard or all that white, so I would bring my own towel next time.Very good – Kerry from Australia – 10 June 2025 (8/10)
Fantastic location for restaurants, bars and shopping. Car parking was essential.
What could be improved: We were only provided with 2 bath towels and no hand towel and no face washers for a one week stay. The couch was a bit uncomfortable but ok.Exceptional – Shibu from Australia – 13 April 2025 (10/10)
Very clean. Very well maintained. Highly recommend, large spacious bed, lots of space
The place was dirty management don't care. Its all about doing things on the cheap. – Wharton from Australia – 11 March 2025 (1/10)
The location was okay.
What could be improved: The sheets on the bed had not been changed from the previous people who stayed there. they had a blood stain and other bodily stains on them they were filthy. We complained to the host who asked the cleaners to change the sheets. The cleaners gave us an old, stained sheet and an old torn doona cover as replacements. When we showed pictures of these to the host management, we were finally given clean linen which we had to put on the bed ourselves. Everything is done on the cheap. From spot cleans to watered down liquid soap in the bathroom to no milk in fridge to no brand coffee. The balcony had spider webs have had been there a long time, it had not been cleaned. The place needs to be inspected more often by management as the cleaners are not doing their job.Very good – Andrew from Australia – 27 February 2025 (8/10)
Only complaint is the curtains allow the morning sun in very early. The Bedroom small window has no curtain or blind at all.
