Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Adina Serviced Apartments Canberra Kingston, I wasn’t expecting much. Serviced apartments can be hit or miss, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The Kingston foreshore location is honestly brilliant – you’re right where all the action happens without being stuck in the sterile parliamentary triangle that dominates so much of Canberra.

What I love about staying here is that you get proper apartment living, not some cramped hotel room with a tiny kettle shoved in the corner. I’m talking full kitchens with decent-sized fridges, separate living areas where you can actually spread out, and – this matters more than you’d think – washing machines in the units. After a few days exploring the capital, being able to do a load of laundry without hunting down some overpriced hotel service is genuinely refreshing. The apartments themselves feel modern without being cold, and the beds are properly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses, so this isn’t throwaway praise).

Kingston itself is where you want to be if you’re visiting Canberra and don’t want to feel like you’re stuck in a government town. The Old Bus Depot Markets are walking distance – perfect for Saturday morning coffee and browsing local stuff. Manuka’s restaurant strip is close by too, and honestly, some of the best meals I’ve had in the ACT have been around there. The lake foreshore is right there for morning runs or evening walks, which beats staring at concrete parliamentary buildings any day. Parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in other parts of the city, and you’re still close enough to the main tourist spots without being surrounded by tour buses at 7am. The staff know the area well too – they’ll point you toward the good coffee shops locals actually use, not just the tourist traps. It’s that kind of local knowledge that makes a difference when you’re somewhere for more than just a quick overnight stay.

  Great location, very clean. Pool great. Air conditioning very toastie.

  Have stayed here before and love the location. Lovely quiet and private apartment. Great to have a washing machine and dryer.

  Really clean and great location. Kingston shopping centre is close by as is the Kingston Foreshore with all of it's Bars and Restaurants.
  2 bedroom apartment, 2 king-sized beds, large lounge room. Well equipped kitchen.

  Good location, good size room. Inadequate internet and entertainment facilities:
  
  1) TV should be joined to hotel wifi network to allow guests to cast content from their phone to the TV; Or, the network settings should be unlocked to allow guests to join the TV to a phone hotspot. This is standard practice since at least 2015.
  
  2) Internet speeds and allowances are reminiscent of the early 2000s ADSL1-era. Totally substandard in today's world and simply not value for your guests' money. If this is because your area is not yet upgraded to FTTP by NBN, then you should be providing Foxtel for each guest as standard. Don't skimp on internet.
  
  The above two need to be improved, or my partner and I will no longer consider your hotel in future visits.
