The industrial touches (exposed brick, metal fixtures) blend nicely with warmer elements, so it doesn’t feel cold or sterile like some modern places can. And that view? Well, let’s just say I spent way more time than planned just staring out those big windows – there’s something about elevated perspectives that makes you feel like you’re seeing a place with fresh eyes, even if you think you know it well.

What I really appreciated was how CanStay handles the hosting side of things. Check-in was straightforward (they actually respond to messages quickly, which isn’t always a given), and they’ve clearly thought through the practical stuff that matters when you’re staying somewhere. The kitchen has everything you’d actually need if you want to cook, not just the bare minimum, and the Wi-Fi is solid – important when you’re trying to get work done or stream something after a long day of exploring. Honestly, the space photographs well if you’re into that sort of thing, but it’s also just comfortable to live in for a few days. I found myself genuinely relaxed here, which doesn’t always happen in rental properties where you feel like you’re walking on eggshells around someone else’s stuff. The only minor thing I’d mention is that street noise can filter in during busier times of day, but it’s not disruptive – more like gentle city background sounds that actually made me feel connected to the neighborhood rather than isolated from it.

  Very spacious, , big balcony, with a great view of the mountains,very clean , restaurants all along the street , shopping centre just down the road (800 metres) , very nice park at the other end of street , if you want to stay in Canberra this is the place to stay has everything you need.
