I’ll be honest, when I first saw the name Center 1-Bed with Sauna, Gym, BBQ & Parking, I thought it sounded more like a Craigslist ad than a proper hotel listing. But you know what? Sometimes the places with the most straightforward names end up being exactly what you need, and this spot delivers on every single thing it promises.

The apartment itself is actually pretty smartly designed – I mean, whoever set this up really thought about what travelers actually want. The one-bedroom setup works perfectly whether you’re flying solo on business or traveling as a couple, and there’s enough space that you don’t feel like you’re living in each other’s pockets. What really caught me off guard was how well-equipped the kitchen is. I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to have kitchens but give you one sad burner and a microwave from 1995 – this isn’t one of those places. You can actually cook real meals here, which honestly saved me a fortune during my week-long stay.

The sauna situation is where this place really shines, though. Look, I’ve used hotel saunas that feel like lukewarm closets, but this one actually gets hot enough to make you sweat properly. After spending days walking around or sitting in meetings, having that heat therapy available whenever you want it – not just during some limited “spa hours” – makes a huge difference. The gym setup is pretty no-nonsense too, nothing fancy but it has the basics that actually work. I’m talking real weights, not those weird resistance bands some places try to pass off as fitness equipment. The BBQ area turned out to be this little gem of a space where I ended up grilling dinner a few times. There’s something deeply satisfying about having your own outdoor cooking space instead of being stuck with room service or hunting down restaurants every night.

Parking is one of those things you don’t think about until you’re driving around in circles at 9 PM looking for a spot, so having that sorted from the get-go takes away a layer of travel stress I didn’t even realize I was carrying. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s really well-organized place than a sterile hotel room where everything’s bolted down and wrapped in plastic. Sure, you won’t get someone making your bed every day or leaving little chocolates on your pillow, but if you’re the kind of person who values having your own space and the freedom to do your own thing on your own schedule, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Location was great
  
  What could be improved: Doona cover had bodily fluids stains on them, only 2 towels for a stay booked for 4 people for 2 nights, only 4 coffee pods.
  Keys were meant to be in a lock box on the premises but they weren't – had to message and call, send emails to prove, call back again, then drive to another location to collect keys (taking a further 2 hours in total).
