There are some solid cafes within walking distance, and if you want to hit up the main attractions in Canberra, you’re looking at maybe a 10-minute drive tops. Couples seem to really get this location (I can see why they rate it so highly), because it strikes that perfect balance between accessible and peaceful.

Practical Considerations

What struck me most was how well-thought-out everything felt for actual living, not just passing through. The Wi-Fi worked consistently — and I mean I was doing video calls without issues. The beds are comfortable enough that I wasn’t counting down the days until I could sleep in my own bed again. Storage space is adequate, so you’re not living out of suitcases the whole time. The air conditioning works properly, which matters more than you’d think during Canberra’s summer months.

  We had to collect the keys off site and they weren't there-even though it was 5.30 and 2 1/2 hours after check-in. We messaged and it was resolved fairly quickly.
  
  What could be improved: We were down for a sporting event and the dryer didn't work which we really needed. Was replaced the next day but that one also didn't work so had to be replaced. Also resolved fairly quickly.
