What really sold me though was how quiet it stays despite being right in the business district – the windows must be decent quality because I barely heard the usual city hum.

But honestly, the rooftop terrace is where this place goes from “nice stay” to “I’m definitely booking this again.” It’s not huge, but it’s got this perfect setup with the BBQ that actually works well – I’ve stayed places where the outdoor cooking situation is more decorative than functional. The views aren’t necessarily postcard-worthy, but there’s something satisfying about grilling dinner while looking out over the city’s everyday rhythm. During my stay, I noticed other guests up there in the evenings, and it had this relaxed, almost communal vibe without feeling crowded. The seating area gets good afternoon sun too, which is perfect if you’re the type to work outside with a coffee. I actually ended up spending way more time on that terrace than I’d planned – it’s one of those spots where you sit down for ten minutes and suddenly it’s been an hour.   Great location, easy walk to city centre and surrounds. Good kitchen well stocked with crockery etc…nice big bed upstairs. Bonus toilet downstairs. Very spacious! Excited our car fit underneath!!!
  
  What could be improved: Needs a bit of general cleaning maintenance. Cobwebs on glass doors. Bathroom and Laundry not the cleanest but we made do. Quite the step up into the shower, could be a hazard for some. Aircon a bit noisy. Needs updating. Very cold draft coming in through the doors when closed…maybe some draft stoppers?
