The apartments themselves are properly spacious – I mean, you can actually unpack your suitcase without playing Tetris with the furniture. What really won me over was the kitchen setup; it’s not just one of those token kitchenettes with a sad little bar fridge. We’re talking full-sized everything, decent counter space, and cookware that doesn’t look like it survived a small war. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, well, why wouldn’t you when you’ve got a proper setup? Plus, there’s something satisfying about making your coffee exactly how you like it instead of dealing with those hotel room machines that taste like they’re powered by regret.
The location grows on you too – Tuggeranong gets written off sometimes, but you’re actually in a pretty sweet spot here. Lake Tuggeranong is right there for morning walks (gorgeous in autumn, by the way), and you’ve got the town center literally across the road for groceries or grabbing dinner. I found myself appreciating the quieter vibe compared to staying in Civic or Manuka – you can actually hear yourself think, but you’re not stranded in the middle of nowhere either. The staff seem to genuinely know their stuff about the local area too, which is refreshing. When I asked about hiking spots, I got actual recommendations with insider tips, not just the standard tourist brochure rundown. Parking was never an issue, check-in was smooth, and honestly, for the space and quality you get, it feels like pretty solid value. It’s the kind of place where you settle in properly rather than just surviving your stay.

Location was fabulous, across the road from a shopping centre and numerous restaurants, close to other planned activities.
