The building itself is pretty understated, but that’s actually part of its charm — no flashy lobby or anything, just a well-maintained space that feels more like visiting a friend than checking into some corporate hotel.

Here’s the thing about this spot in Canberra — you’re basically in the sweet spot between Parliament House and the city center, which means you can walk to most of the stuff tourists actually want to see. I spent a morning strolling to the National Gallery (maybe 15 minutes on foot), and honestly, the tree-lined streets make it feel more like a neighborhood walk than a tourist trek. The parking situation is refreshingly stress-free too — they’ve got a dedicated spot on-site, which anyone who’s driven around Canberra’s government district will appreciate.

The room layout is smart without being fancy — there’s a proper bedroom that actually feels separate from the living area, not one of those studio situations where your bed dominates everything.   The apartment was clean and cosy and perfect for our quick trip to Canberra. The location was also perfect a quick walk across the road to major shopping centre and not far to walk for restaurants. We had everything we needed close by and also facilities of the apartment.
  The host also was great at communication and accommodating any needs or requests that we had, a pleasure to communicate with.
  
  What could be improved: The only issue I had was phone coverage while in the building. Thankfully the host provided free Wifi so that we could still make calls via WhatsApp and use the net on our phones. This is not the hosts fault and would not put us off staying here again.

  What could be improved: The most difficult part is finding the parking space, as the numbers do not seem to run in any order. The pictures and video helped, but are not accessible from within the carpark without 4G network. Also, my Optus mobile has no reception inside the room, needed to go out to the patio to get any reception.
