But once I grabbed the keys from the easy self-check-in (no fuss, just a code texted ahead), stepping inside felt like exhaling after a long drive. The place is a proper 2-bedroom, 2-bath setup, all sleek and modern without trying too hard – think soft gray couches that actually sink in comfortably, not those stiff hotel ones, and a kitchen with real appliances, like a full oven and dishwasher that saved me from eating out every night. The air had that fresh, just-cleaned scent, mixed with a hint of whatever eucalyptus cleaner they use, which is so Canberra, you know?

What really sold me was how it nailed that home-away-from-home vibe while being super practical for exploring.
