What I really appreciated was how easy it was to grab dinner — Civic is practically next door, so you’ve got everything from casual cafes to proper restaurants without needing to plan transportation. Couples seem to particularly love this setup, and I can see why — it’s intimate without being isolated.

The staff approach is refreshingly low-key; they’re helpful when you need them but not hovering around trying to anticipate your every move. I spent a lot of time just walking around the neighborhood, discovering little shortcuts to different parts of the city. There’s something about staying in a townhouse-style place that makes you feel more like a temporary local than a tourist passing through.

  The property itself was very clean, within walking distance to the shopping centre, cafes, restaurants, bars & public transport.
  
  What could be improved: The only downside to the property itself is, it needs to have proper window coverings (blockout curtains) in the living room when a sofa bed is an option for sleeping & for general privacy from neighbours. The shower in the main bedroom is very noisy and has very low water pressure as was the water pressure in other bathroom. The aircon does not work in the living room when it’s on whilst upstairs it gets extremely warm.

  What could be improved: The only small thing is the air con is weak in living room and the kitchen. But the good one is they provided a heater which helps for the room temperature.
