The apartment has these big windows that actually live up to the “lakeview” promise – you can see Lake Burley Griffin stretching out there, and honestly, watching the morning light hit the water while you’re having coffee is pretty special. The setup is practical too; there’s proper kitchen space (not just a sad little kitchenette), which saved me a fortune on eating out every meal. The Wi-Fi is solid – important when you’re trying to get work done or just want to stream something after a long day exploring. I stayed during what turned out to be a pretty busy period, but the apartment stayed surprisingly quiet. You get the occasional car passing by, but nothing that’ll keep you up at night. The whole building has this calm, residential atmosphere that I actually found more relaxing than staying in the city center. Plus, you’re still close enough to everything that matters – the parliamentary triangle, the galleries, decent restaurants – without dealing with all the tourist chaos. It’s one of those places where you end up extending your stay because it just works, you know?

  This Lakeview Apartment was a delight to stay in – clean, fresh, and modern. Extremely quiet given the central location. Fabulous views and proximity to the bars, cafes and restaurants of the New Acton Precinct. We appreciated the easy check in, parking being included, the coffee machine, and the host’s contact after having left behind an article of clothing.

  What could be improved: Although host provided details regarding accessing parking, it was confusing as we had to drive into Wilson Parking & there was only signs for public parking & no signs for residents parking (not host’s fault). Once we figured out how to get to the parking assigned to the apartment, it was easy to access.
  
  The apartment has lovely views of the lake however, we were disappointed that we could not use the verandah due to the loud freeway noise. The freeway noise could not be heard inside the apartment as it has great insulation.
