I ended up cooking breakfast there most mornings because, well, why not save a few bucks and enjoy coffee in your pajamas? The Wi-Fi is solid too – I had a few work calls and didn’t have to apologize for cutting out every thirty seconds.

What really sealed the deal for me was the neighborhood feel. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble where everything costs twice what it should. There’s a little market just around the corner where locals actually shop, and I discovered this tiny café that serves the kind of pastries that make you understand why people move to cities in the first place. The area gets quiet at night – not dead quiet, just that comfortable residential hum that helps you actually sleep. Parking can be a bit of a treasure hunt during busy times, but honestly, most places in the city center have that same challenge. The hosts were genuinely helpful without being hovering – they sent me a detailed message about check-in that covered everything I actually needed to know, plus a few local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, and if you need daily housekeeping or a concierge, this isn’t your place. But if you want somewhere that feels like a real home base while you’re exploring, somewhere you can spread out your stuff and not feel like you’re living in a hotel room – this hits the sweet spot perfectly.

  The location was great, and the owners were lovely and helpful.
  The apartment presented clean, other than smell (see below).
  The blankets were great.
  Heating was perfect.
  Access to the gym and pool was a great option, but I didn't get to use it, though, due to the short length of our stay.
  Having a piano in the room was so awesome, and it was in tune. It needs some love, but it was fun to play for a bit.
  
  What could be improved: The shower had black mould growing everywhere in it, a simple mould killer would fix this issue.
  The apartment smelled of stale cigarettes upon first entry, this disappeared after opening all the balcony access for a few hours.
  The bed mattress was absolutely horrible, not as bad as Adina apartments, but I wouldn't want more than one night on it.
