You know what struck me first about Perfectly Located Modern Apartment – Canberra CBD? It’s one of those places where the name actually delivers on its promise – and honestly, that’s rarer than you’d think. I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of “centrally located” spots that required a solid 20-minute trek to anything worthwhile, but this apartment genuinely sits right in the heart of Canberra‘s business district where you can practically roll out of bed and grab coffee from one of those excellent little cafés on Bunda Street.

The apartment itself has that clean, contemporary feel that works whether you’re there for business meetings at Parliament House or just exploring the capital for a few days. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to make the space feel actually lived-in rather than sterile – there are thoughtful touches like proper kitchen essentials (not just a sad mini-fridge situation) and a workspace that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters more than people admit when you’re trying to stay connected. I found myself spending mornings on the balcony with my laptop, watching Canberra wake up below – it’s got this surprisingly peaceful energy for a city center, especially compared to Sydney or Melbourne’s constant buzz.

Location-wise, you’re walking distance from pretty much everything that makes Canberra worth visiting. The National Gallery is maybe ten minutes on foot, Lake Burley Griffin is close enough for morning runs if that’s your thing, and you can easily catch the light rail from nearby if you want to venture out to other districts. What’s particularly nice is that while you’re definitely in the CBD, it doesn’t feel overwhelmingly urban – Canberra has this unique way of blending city conveniences with that laid-back capital territory vibe. The building itself is well-maintained and quiet, which I appreciated after some long days of meetings. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area, but honestly, you probably won’t need a car much once you’re settled in. With an 8.4 rating from other guests, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and I can see why – it’s that sweet spot of modern comfort without the corporate hotel feel, right where you want to be in Australia’s capital.

  Location was superb and the apartment was very clean and comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: Some small items in the kitchen such as paper towels and a better absorbent sponge would help. It would be easier to clean the place with these items. A box of tissues would also be good to have. Some bedside lamps are also needed.

  Nicely styled 90s decor, clean and comfortable all except the mattress.
  
  What could be improved: The bed mattress is very uncomfortable needs to be replaced. It is hard with no softness and has body depressions in it.
  The bedroom balcony door also whistles air when the wind blows in that direction, along with the traffic noise.
  Cars with loud mufflers woke us numerous times during our 2 nights.
  The checkin and checkout was problematic!
  The keys are collected offsite. Not from a “real estate’ but from a container covered in plastic ivy behind the car wash.

  Loved the location in the centre of Canberra, perfect for restaurants, bars and shopping.
  The apartment was comfortable and had everything needed.
  It was beautifully clean.
  Great that it had a car park though it was difficult to find once in the garage
  
  What could be improved: On the Friday night it was extremely noisy from souped up cars and motor cycles.
  I should have reported that the vanity basin in the bathroom did not drain well.
  I struggled to find the key place. The address given took me to the Arts Centre

  Beautiful apartment – loved the location, undercover parking, apartment layout, big bedroom with balcony access, gym, swimming pool, speedy response from owners to my questions.
  
  What could be improved: The key Dropbox thing – we didn’t realise you could park next to it down the lane way and circled the block several times trying to find a park. Having said that, the instructions and photos were spot on and hugely helpful!
  Booking.com description needs to be changed to something you can tell an Uber driver – like Manhattan Apartments (North Tower).

  Building and its location were excellent. The apartment was spacious and extremely well appointed.
  
  So many great restaurants in the near vicinity.
  
  Very comprehensive instructions were provided regarding picking up keys and accessing the building.

  What could be improved: The quality of the pillows could be improved, they did not offer my support.
  
  It was a bit difficult to find the location where we needed to pick up the keys. Google Maps took us about a km from where we needed to be.
  
  It was initially a bit difficult to locate the building as Google Maps was not very precise. We were provided with a picture of the building which was taken from the park and the entrance of the building was less obvious from the road when driving, particularly at dusk.
