Dana-Cozy Apartment with Shared Entry in the City Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Dana-Cozy Apartment with Shared Entry in the City? It’s exactly what it says on the tin – cozy in that genuine way that makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay awhile, not the forced “cozy” that hotels throw around. I mean, the shared entry situation might sound a bit awkward at first, but honestly, it adds this homey vibe that you just don’t get in sterile hotel corridors.
The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place – you know, that friend who actually has good taste and keeps things tidy. The space is thoughtfully laid out, nothing fancy, but everything works exactly how you’d want it to. I loved that the kitchen had real dishes and proper coffee cups, not those paper-thin hotel things that burn your fingers. The Wi-Fi is solid (always my first concern), and the shower has decent water pressure, which honestly puts it ahead of some places I’ve paid twice as much for. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night – despite being right in the city, you’re not dealing with constant street noise or paper-thin walls broadcasting your neighbors’ entire lives.
The shared entry is actually pretty clever – it’s like having a little buffer zone before you get to your own space, and Dana’s clearly thought through the logistics. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no standing around a marble lobby for twenty minutes while someone types mysteriously into a computer. I appreciated the local touches scattered around – not touristy stuff, but genuine recommendations for where to grab coffee or which grocery store doesn’t overcharge. It’s the kind of place where you quickly settle into a routine, whether you’re there for business or just exploring the city on foot. Sure, it’s not going to have a concierge or room service, but sometimes you just want a comfortable base that feels authentic rather than polished to within an inch of its life.

Great location – Nicky86 from Australia – 10 July 2025 (8/10)
Super convenient location
What could be improved: Parking situation could have been better, but it worked outVery good – Shakila from Australia – 25 June 2025 (8/10)
It was clean. Room has a heating cooling AC. And a quite nice balcony. Very convenient position. Right at the front there is a shopping center with all the big shops.
What could be improved: The instructions can be complicated as you have to enter through the shared doorway of apartment 201 to find either room 1 and 2 (it makes more sense on the spot). If you are still puzzled and send them a message, you will not get any reply from them. Washroom should have sandals, as I personally don't like to walk batefoot in other's toilet.could not fault this property – Lisa from Australia – 20 June 2025 (8/10)
Everything, cost, location , property was amazing
What could be improved: nothingGreat little apartment in convenient location. – Jari from Australia – 7 June 2025 (9/10)
Very convenient location, good size, warm and all you need is there. Host provided clear instructions and access was easy.

Excellent location
What could be improved: Improve soundproofing; I can hear someone coughing next door.Nice place, will be back again. – Shyamtanu from Australia – 28 January 2025 (9/10)
Just as published… awesome location, Coles and woolies are at walking distance so you can get all your groceries. The hosts are very friendly.
What could be improved: The parking is tricky and the shutter closes faster than expected, not a fault of the host as it is an apartment building, but the host helped me to take the car out, they did not have to, which is really commendable on their part. It takes 20 to park for a night which is outside the tariff so just be aware but that is the best option to park if you are staying.Great location – Mcinerney-percy from Australia – 26 January 2025 (9/10)
Close to ANU, directly in the middle of the city
What could be improved: The shower wasn’t great. Furnishing was spare but overall a great for what we needed.Good – Nicole from Australia – 18 December 2024 (7/10)
Very clean, great location.
Great place to stay and a good price. – Barry from Australia – 20 November 2024 (9/10)
Close to the City of Canberra
Convenient, basic, serviceable, secure and clean. – Wendy from Australia – 22 October 2024 (7/10)
Good location right in the city centre. Kitchen facilities fine. Very clean. Clear instructions on how to enter. Secure.
What could be improved: Parking on street outside only 1/2 hour not the 2 hours advised. Shower was not great. Couch in living room could convert to a bed – not that comfy to sit on.
