Dana-Cozy Apartment with Shared Entry in the City Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Dana-Cozy Apartment with Shared Entry in the City, you’ll immediately notice how well-positioned it is right on City Walk — honestly, the location alone makes this place worth considering. The shared entry setup might sound a bit unusual at first, but it actually works quite well in practice. I mean, you’re getting your own private space while being right in the heart of Canberra‘s city center, which is pretty hard to find at this price point. The building itself has that modern Australian apartment feel, nothing too flashy but clean and well-maintained.

Location & Neighborhood

You know what really struck me about this spot? It’s genuinely one of those locations where you can walk everywhere that matters in Canberra. City Walk puts you within easy reach of the main shopping areas, cafes, and business district — couples especially seem to love how walkable everything is from here (and honestly, I can see why they rate it so highly). There’s private parking on site too, which is actually a big deal in this part of the city where street parking can be a real headache. The fact that recent guests consistently rate the location nearly perfect tells you everything you need to know about how well-connected this place is.

The Apartment Experience

Inside, the apartment lives up to that “cozy” part of its name without feeling cramped or overly small. The shared entry arrangement is handled thoughtfully — you’re not constantly bumping into other guests or feeling like your privacy is compromised. The space feels like a proper home base rather than just a place to crash, with enough room to actually relax and spread out a bit. Everything you need is there, from a functional kitchen setup to comfortable living areas that make longer stays feel natural rather than restrictive.

Practical Considerations

What I really appreciate about staying here is how straightforward everything is — no complicated check-in procedures or confusing building layouts to navigate. The private parking situation is honestly worth its weight in gold if you’re driving around Canberra, especially during busy periods when the city center gets congested. The apartment setup means you can actually cook your own meals if you want to save money or just prefer eating in, which is something you obviously can’t do in a traditional hotel room. It’s that kind of flexibility that makes this place work so well for different types of travelers.

Why Guests Love It

The combination of that prime City Walk location with the privacy and space of your own apartment really hits a sweet spot that’s hard to find elsewhere in Canberra. You’re getting the best of both worlds — the independence of having your own place with the convenience of being right where everything happens. The consistently high ratings, especially from couples, suggest this isn’t just a decent budget option but actually a genuinely good place to stay. When you factor in the parking and that top-tier location score, it becomes pretty clear why people keep coming back to this spot.

Reviews of Dana-Cozy Apartment with Shared Entry in the City

  • Great location – Nicky86 from Australia – 10 July 2025 (8/10)

    Super convenient location

What could be improved: Parking situation could have been better, but it worked out

  • Very good – Shakila from Australia – 25 June 2025 (8/10)

It was clean. Room has a heating cooling AC. And a quite nice balcony. Very convenient position. Right at the front there is a shopping center with all the big shops.

What could be improved: The instructions can be complicated as you have to enter through the shared doorway of apartment 201 to find either room 1 and 2 (it makes more sense on the spot). If you are still puzzled and send them a message, you will not get any reply from them. Washroom should have sandals, as I personally don't like to walk batefoot in other's toilet.

  • could not fault this property – Lisa from Australia – 20 June 2025 (8/10)

Everything, cost, location , property was amazing

    What could be improved: nothing

  • Great little apartment in convenient location. – Jari from Australia – 7 June 2025 (9/10)

Very convenient location, good size, warm and all you need is there. Host provided clear instructions and access was easy.

  • Superb – Helen from Australia – 31 January 2025 (9/10)

    Excellent location

What could be improved: Improve soundproofing; I can hear someone coughing next door.

  • Nice place, will be back again. – Shyamtanu from Australia – 28 January 2025 (9/10)

Just as published… awesome location, Coles and woolies are at walking distance so you can get all your groceries. The hosts are very friendly.

What could be improved: The parking is tricky and the shutter closes faster than expected, not a fault of the host as it is an apartment building, but the host helped me to take the car out, they did not have to, which is really commendable on their part. It takes 20 to park for a night which is outside the tariff so just be aware but that is the best option to park if you are staying.

  • Great location – Mcinerney-percy from Australia – 26 January 2025 (9/10)

Close to ANU, directly in the middle of the city

What could be improved: The shower wasn’t great. Furnishing was spare but overall a great for what we needed.

  • Good – Nicole from Australia – 18 December 2024 (7/10)

    Very clean, great location.

  • Great place to stay and a good price. – Barry from Australia – 20 November 2024 (9/10)

Close to the City of Canberra

  • Convenient, basic, serviceable, secure and clean. – Wendy from Australia – 22 October 2024 (7/10)

Good location right in the city centre. Kitchen facilities fine. Very clean. Clear instructions on how to enter. Secure.

What could be improved: Parking on street outside only 1/2 hour not the 2 hours advised. Shower was not great. Couch in living room could convert to a bed – not that comfy to sit on.
