What really impressed me was how well-equipped the place actually is. I’m talking about those little details that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two – proper kitchen setup, decent Wi-Fi that actually works in every room, and enough space to spread out without feeling like you’re living in each other’s pockets. The building management seems pretty on top of things too, which you don’t always get with these kinds of private rentals. I had a minor issue with the heating controls my first night (nothing major, just couldn’t figure out the system), and someone was there within an hour to sort it out. The location gives you that perfect balance where you feel like you’re away from everything but you’re not actually stranded – there’s enough nearby that you won’t be driving everywhere for basic stuff, but it’s not so busy that you lose that peaceful mountain vibe. I ended up extending my stay by two days because, well, sometimes you just need to listen to what a place is telling you, and this one was definitely saying “slow down a bit.”

  The location was reasonably near Dickson shopping centre>
  The views were magnificent.
  The apartment was fairly new and nicely laid out.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was very dirty. Parts of it hadn't seen a duster for many weeks.
  The bedside table in the main bedroom had a drawer full of someone's underwear and most of the hanging space of the wardrobe was taken up by a large dirty vacuum cleaner.
  A used bandage and a piece of broken glass were trodden on during the stay which just indicated poor cleaning practices.
  There was a loose rug in the living room which was a dangerous slipping hazard for older people like myself.
