Walking up to 3 Gordon Street, you’d never guess what awaits on the fifth floor. The Spacious sun-drenched apartment, centrally located lives up to its name in ways that honestly surprised me — and I’ve stayed in plenty of Canberra accommodations over the years. The moment you step inside, those floor-to-ceiling windows hit you with this flood of natural light that makes the whole space feel twice as big as it actually is. It’s one of those places where you immediately drop your bags and just sort of exhale, you know?

The apartment really delivers on that “spacious” promise, with an open-plan layout that flows naturally from the living area into the kitchen and dining space. What I loved most was how thoughtfully everything’s arranged — there’s actual room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. You can walk to the Australian War Memorial in about fifteen minutes, and the Parliamentary Triangle is practically on your doorstep. What couples seem to love (and the ratings back this up) is how easy it is to stroll to dinner spots along Northbourne Avenue or catch a show at the Canberra Theatre Centre.   The apartment was in an excellent location, we could walk to Floriade, bars and restaurants and bike track to the lake started one block away. Also enjoyed the indoor pool and the outdoor giant chess set. The apartment was spacious and well equipped.
